With iHealthSuite, patients can view educational content when it's most convenient for them; launching a video is as easy as making a brief phone call, responding to interactive voice prompts, and tuning the bedside TV set to the specified channel. Patients also have the option of viewing content on demand via their PC's or mobile devices; this is particularly important for outpatients, or those in pre-admission or post-discharge phases of care.

Staff can also start videos playing on the patient's bedside TV set, using a PC, tablet or smartphone to initiate playback. This is particularly useful when a patient is unable to use the telephone or control the TV set, or where a staff member needs to be present while the patient watches the video.

The iHealthSuite.com Video Educator App provides hospitals with a simple and inexpensive way to deliver on-demand and scheduled video educational content to the patient television. Patients can order videos on-demand 24 hours per day using the bedside telephone. A web browser interface allows you to upload and schedule videos, and to review and print usage and comprehension reports.
